Many professionals assume stalled progress comes from poor discipline. In reality it often comes from something rarely discussed: invisible drag. It is the quiet problem slows momentum without warning. That is why many capable people feel stuck even while staying busy.

Picture a normal day. You start with clear priorities. Then an email lands. Your attention gets pulled. A meeting gets added. A quick question turns into an unexpected delay. Every interruption feels small. But together, they rewrite your schedule. By evening, you were busy—but the work that truly mattered remains untouched.
